Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl.
My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. But I love spending time with them, and I really enjoy seeing them learn and experience new things.
I started writing this blog so that I could keep track of the activities that I was doing with my eldest and make sure that my younger two got a good go at them when they were ready. I started sharing some of what we were doing on facebook, and I was surprised by the response. So here’s my go at making it public and putting it all in one place, to share with other mums/dads/grandparents/carers etc. who also like doing these activities with their kids.
Here you will find arts and crafts, messy and sensory play activities, science experiments, maths activities and country-themed activities for your toddler, preschooler and beyond. These activities have all been tried and tested on little ones, who have come away happy – and sometimes messy!
Little people love exploring the world – they’re naturally curious. They love feeling new textures, seeing amazing things happen to everyday objects, exploring new ways to build/paint/create, sorting and matching, and learning new things. And their brains are like sponges
This site is aimed at giving you lots of acitvities to enjoy with your little (and not-so little!) ones that are first and foremost fun, but also educational. We hope you enjoy the activities as much as we do! Enjoy!
