A shapes tray!

My toddler (20mo) is really enjoying learning new things at the moment, and his little brain is like a sponge. So I thought we would look at some shapes. I collected together some objects from around the house that were clearly some of the elementary shapes and put them on a tray. We then spent a while identifying them and I got him to repeat the shapes back to me. Then he passed me a circle, and showed me a square etc. We read the shapes books too, and found the corresponding shapes on our tray. He was fascinated!
