Shapes game!

I made a shapes game that has been a big hit with both the boys!

You can find my shapes here. I laminated the both the big and little shapes, and then cut out the little shapes. You don’t have to laminate them, it just prolongs their life (particularly if little sticky fingers are involved!).

With my toddler, I do shape and colour matching. I was surprised by how quickly he picked it up – and he was so pleased with himself!

With my preschooler, I did shape matching and naming and then let him experiment with shape tessellation. One to keep going back to!

Here is a link to the laminator that I use. Please note that this is an affiliate link, which means that if you purchase it here I get a small commission at no cost to you.

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
