Fuse beads are small plastic beads that can be assembled on a grid and then melted with an iron to produce a robust artistic creation. Our pre-schooler has had great fun both assembling works of art and playing with the finished product. The beads are great for building the dexterity of little fingers, as well as the hand-eye coordination and attention required to put them together correctly. Our toddler has a tendancy to spread them around the floor, so this is an activity best saved for during the littlest angel’s nap time…
