American Flags!

We made some flags as part of our ‘America week’.

We made one flag out of card, craft sticks, glue and paint. I made one first, and then drew out the design for my son to copy. He had a good go at painting it like mine. We stuck it up on our door frame to remind us of our time looking at America.

The other flag we made out of fuse beads. This required more parental help – though older children would be able to copy the design for themselves. Once ironed, we then stuck it on one of the toy cupboards with the other flags.

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
