Books for America week

Our favourite book for America week was ‘Dog Detectives in an American Adventure’. It was fun, light-hearted and visited a few of the famous sites in the US. Suitable to younger children (my 4yo and 18mo loved it).

We also enjoyed ‘A walk in New York’. This was a bit heavier going – more suitable for my 4yo, but I would guess it’s targeted at older children. But it was engaging, and an excellent way to learn about the city.

And we couldn’t ‘visit’ America without reading a Bella and Harry book – see my post Bella and Harry adventure series on why we love these books! The one for America is ‘Christmas in New York City’.

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
