Empire State Building challenge

Both  the boys love building things – and knocking them over! The challenge for my eldest is to get something built before my youngest tries to knock it down! As part of ‘America week’, I printed off a picture of the Empire State Building, and asked my eldest to construct it as best he could out of blocks. For this activity we used wooden blocks, but any sort of blocks would do.

He was pleased with the results, and then set about building a whole New York landscape, with skyscrapers galore.   I was impressed with his imagination!
