Making a didgeridoo

For our ‘Australia week’, we of course had to talk about the Aborginal people and their wonderful didgeridoos. We talked about Aborginal art – where they paint using dots – and we decided to paint our didgeridoo in the Aborginal style.

We used a cardboard tube from our recycling pile and a cotton bud to paint the dots. My preschooler was so thrilled with it that he took it into nursery to show his teachers!

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
