Egyptian pyramids

Both the boys love to build things, and we are always on the lookout for new building materials. Egypt, with its pyramids, provided a great excuse to find as many different ways of constructing pyramids as we could. We talked about how to make a pyramid and I showed my pre-schooler – he very quickly got the hang of it. We then built pyramids out of sugar cubes and wooden blocks. He spent ages playing with the sugar cubes, trying out lots of designs. A great STEM challenge!

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
