Egyptian sweet cookies

I was excited about doing some baking for our ‘Egypt week’ as I really had no concept of what Egyptian food was like. I was looking for a recipe that was easy to make with young kids, and came across this one – sweet cookies – which looked yummy. The boys had so much fun mixing and folding. I tried to get my 4yo to help me with the numbers on the scales, and he didn’t do too badly. The recipe was easy to follow, and the result was good. My eldest took them in to share with his friends at preschool, and not a single cookie came back so I guess they must have been good!
