King Tutankhamun collar and headdress

We read about King Tutankhamun as part of ‘Egypt week’ – see my post on books for Egypt week – and my 4yo loved the idea of a young king who wasn’t much older than him! So we decided to make a collar and headdress so that he could dress up as King Tut. We used a paper plate and some craft jewels for the collar, and a paper plate and some paint for the headdress. Then we added a piece of card to make the headdress wearable, and some string for the collar. My son even wore this into his nursery for world book day!

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
