Pretzels for Germany week
I found this recipe for pretzels when I was doing some research for our ‘Germany week’, and thought it looked good and easy to do with the kids.
The recipe is great – easy to follow and do, and could be done almost exclusively by my preschooler. And quick too – done and dusted in half an hour.
We did use white flour instead of whole wheat, but they worked out well. We made pretty big ones, and I don’t think Paul Hollywood would be giving us top marks for our plaiting, but they went down a treat!
