Books for Greece week

We couldn’t ‘visit’ Greece without reading ‘Let’s visit Athens’ from the Bella and Harry series – see my post Bella and Harry adventure series on why we love these books! My eldest loved reading about Zeus and the greek gods.

I also thought ‘Greece week’ would be a great opportunity to introduce them to some of the Greek myths, as they are such good stories. I found this book ‘Orchard book of first Greek Myths’ – and it is absolutely excellent. My preschooler asks for this book every night, so we have been reading one Greek myth a night for weeks now. His favourite is the story of Pegasus the flying horse, but he also loves Theseus and the Minotaur. They are very accessible and not too long.

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
