Books for Russia week

Our favourite book for ‘Russia week’ is Let’s visit St. Petersburg from the Bella and Harry series – see my post Bella and Harry adventure series on why we love these books! My eldest loved the information about the Hermitage museum and liked to tell me which one was his favourite.

I also found this delightful book ‘The Littlest Matryoshka’ – a story about Matryoshka dolls who are sisters and taken to a toy shop in America. It’s a lovely story, and the little details fascinate my eldest who likes to point out things no-one else notices in a story!

Since we have talked about Russian ballet, we also read ‘The Nutracker’ which we got from an Usborne Young Reading set. This was great, and even my youngest loved to listen to the story.

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
