Easter fingerprint art and bonnet

My son’s nursery was doing an Easter bonnet parade and we were tasked with making an Easter bonnet at home and bringing it in. He likes to do things ‘all by myself’ in his words, so I tried to think of how we could make something that was (almost) entirely done by him, but still conveyed Easter.

So I came up with this Easter fingerprint painting. Very simple – I drew the outlines of crosses and Easter eggs, and he dipped his fingers into paint to fill them in. And then we made it into an Easter bonnet!

Of course, you could just stop at the picture stage for a bit of painting fun.

Here is a link to the paint that I used. Please note that this is an affiliate link, which means that if you purchase it here I get a small commission at no cost to you.
