Planets treasure hunt!

For our ‘Space week’, we were blessed with excellent weather so I tried to take as many of the activities outside as possible (good when you’re launching rockets – see my post on launching a fizzy rocket!). I had a set of planets (see my link below), so I hid them around the garden for the boys to find and bring back to the water table. There we identified them, talked about each planet a bit to see what we could remember and then they had fun playing with them in the water table for sometime afterwards. It was so easy but such good fun! And my preschooler loved trying to remember which was the biggest planet, which was the closest to the sun etc. So it got those little grey cells working too!

Inquisitive

Hi! I’m Claire, stay-at-home-mum to two gorgeous boys and a lovely girl. My kids are energetic, spirited and full-of-life, and they certainly keep me on my toes. I love spending time with them and seeing them learn and experience new things – I hope that this blog will give you ideas to try out on the children in your life!
